Franciscan Hall

The center of action in Franciscan Hall, often known as Fran Hall, is our Student Union and Welcome Center. The student government association, service learning, HAWK Radio, and the office of admissions are all located on the first floor along with other student life offices like the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership.

Additionally, you can unwind in the Student Lounge or play video games in the Hawkade e-gaming room. Our President’s Office, Financial Aid, Student Records, Mission Integration, and Campus Ministry are all located on the second level.

Campus Housing

Living on campus can provide you with one of the most holistic college experiences. Hilbert College prides itself on providing one of the best residential experiences (10th Best Residence Halls in NYS by Niche in 2024) along with inclusive dining programs. Our living-learning communities provide you a safe living experience enriched in activities and opportunities to gain/enhance relationships and develop independence.

Trinity Hall

Housing mainly incoming freshmen, Trinity Hall is a three-story building with rooms opening off a main corridor. The building offers two styles of rooms: suites, which feature three 2-person bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a small living room; or double rooms in which two 2-person bedrooms share one bathroom. Students are responsible for cleaning their own room and bathroom.

The Apartments

Hilbert College’s apartments are state-of-the-art, two-story buildings with a capacity of seventeen students in each of the four buildings. Each building contains four single-gender apartments that can house four or five students in single bedrooms. Each apartment also contains two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, air conditioning, and ample storage. Each building also contains laundry facilities.

Campus Center

The Campus Center is the heart of campus life at Hilbert College. It’s home to our newly renovated Dining Hall, Campus Safety, Bookstore, and plenty of great spots to hang out.

Dining Hall

The Dining Hall, located on the upper level of the Campus Center, is designed with your needs in mind. Hilbert's Dining Services offers a meal program that fuels your success with delicious, healthy, and convenient options—so you can focus on the things that matter most, like classes, sports, clubs, and community service. Dining on campus is more than just eating; it's a social experience that's essential to campus life. Our Dining Hall provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere where you can gather with friends, take study breaks, hang out, and relax. With outstanding food and a convenient location, the Dining Hall is designed especially for you.

The Bookstore

Shop Hilbert College apparel, books, merchandise, and gifts at the Hawks Bookstore. Located on the lower level of the Campus Center, the Hawks Bookstore is your one-stop shop for school supplies, snacks, and beverages.

Hafner Recreation Center

Gymnasium

Our Hawk spirit is strong and athletic games draw a large crowd. Our Hilbert College men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams train in the gymnasium. Drop-down batting cages allow our baseball and softball teams a year-round training option. Club sports, events, and activities also utilize this space.

Weight Room

The Fitness Center is available to all students and faculty at no charge. The air conditioned facility has large flat-screen televisions with Direct TV. The space features a 2,000-square-foot fitness center equipped with state-of-the-art aerobic and strength training equipment.

Paczesny Hall

Paczesny Hall is where you’ll find some of your classes, as well as our Center for Creative Media and Video Production Studio. These facilities include cutting-edge digital media equipment, recording studios, editing bays, and a complete video production set.

Hilbert College is a proud member of the Student Veterans Alliance and provides a one-of-a-kind space for veterans to relax, study, or reminisce in the Hafner Veterans Lounge. The Honors Lounge is also on the same floor and is only accessible to Honors Program students. Our Honors Program offers top Hilbert students an intellectual learning experience in a challenging environment that fosters excellence.

 

Swan Auditorium & 78 West

Swan Auditorium is used for several special events held by both our on and off-campus community members, including conferences, guest speakers, unique performances, specialized training sessions by Hilbert’s Institute for Law and Justice, and other activities. Swan is the largest on-campus auditorium in the Southtowns, holding a capacity of nearly 460 people.

Bogel Hall

As you walk the halls in Bogel, you’ll notice the popular cybersecurity, forensics, and modernized chemistry and biology labs, in addition to classrooms and faculty offices. All classrooms on campus are equipped with the latest in classroom technology, including 4K Ultra HD touch screen monitors, laser projectors, wireless speakers, and SmartBoards, making it easy to switch to an online learning environment without interruption, should the need ever arise again.

McGrath Library

Librarians are available to answer questions about the Library’s services and resources, as well as to assist in the discovery of research materials such as articles, books, and other general information. We have a wide range of mediums designed to propel your research to the next level, including style guides, citation help, databases, catalog, research guides, ebooks, and tutorials.

Accessibility Services is committed to working with students, faculty, and staff to ensure that everyone has equal access. Through educational programming, services, resources, and facilities available to all members of the campus community, the office actively promotes the ongoing development of an accessible environment that embraces diversity.

 

Outdoor Spaces & Conclusion

Our Hilbert campus has more than 60 acres and plenty of space for activities all over campus. For optimal use, our new student amenities, such as the fire pit, volleyball court, and outdoor grill, are located closer to student housing.
