Alma Mater
A new alma mater for Hilbert College has been written and composed by our student a cappella group, Hawkappella:
Since nineteen fifty-seven, our Franciscan mission shows,
Giving us a moral guide, learning what we need to know.
Our roots run deep like apple trees, through every high and low.Â
So, Hilbert, we will sing with the lessons you’ve taught us.
Service, hope, and virtue-
We take into the sky!
Soaring high, the Hilbert Hawks!
Because of you, we shall fly! Â
In learning paths, we walk as one;Â
Our journey has just begun.
You are our light, our shining beacon bright!Â
So, Hilbert, we will sing with the lessons you’ve taught us.
Service, hope, and virtue-
We take into the sky!
Soaring high, the Hilbert Hawks!
Because of you, we shall fly!
Because of you, we shall fly!Â
