Celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is not just about the understanding the man behind the “I Have a Dream” speech, but continuing the vision that he left for the world – to fight against human injustices. It is for this reason that, the office of multicultural affairs sponsors/co-sponsors a keynote address to commemorate Kings legacy every year in the month of January.
Join us for our 4th Annual MLK Commemoration Lecture on Thursday, January 31, 2013 in the William E. Swan Auditorium at 4:30 p.m.
Our keynote speaker for this event is Farai Chideya, an award winning author and journalist.

What Happens To Equality When We're All Minorities? Re-Imagining King's Dream for a Post-Majority America? A book signing and reception will follow the presentation.
