The rehabilitation services degree program at Hilbert was created to address the unique service needs of persons with disabilities. Our program provides you a unique, marketable and community-responsive academic program of study in supporting and assisting those with disabilities in achieving their desired level of independent living, employment and community integration.
|Our faculty has extensive field experience in rehabilitation services, adding an important, real-world dimension to your learning environment. Members of our faculty have professional experience in a variety of settings including state and local agencies, substance abuse services, and supportive programs for people with disabilities. Faculty has also remained active as volunteers within their communities in order to further their skills and stay current on issues of relevance to the field and students.
For those students wishing to pursue advanced degrees, the program provides a solid foundation designed to prepare you for graduate work in areas such as social work, psychology, agency or school counseling, and disability studies. You will have an opportunity to work closely with faculty advisors to create a course of study that meets with your individual needs and skills.
