Basketball Season Kicks Off

HAMBURG, NY - The 2012-13 edition of the men's and women's basketball seasons begin November 15.  The Hawks are excited about the upcoming seasons and look forward to a packed Hawks Nest section providing energy during close games.

Rob Peterson's women's team tips-off tomorrow against Wells College at 6pm before then they hit the road for a 1pm game at Penn State Dubois November 17.   You can follow the team's progress this year via the Charlie d'Estries blog: Shooting Baskets.

The men's program takes the court for the first time November 15 (8pm) against Fredonia State in the opening game of the 3rd annual Hilbert Tip-Off Classic.  The next day, Fredonia will square off against St. John Fisher at 7pm.  The Classic concludes November 17 with the Hawks hosting St. John Fisher at 1pm. 

Admission to the Classic is $5 per adult daily but students and faculty with ID are admitted free, as are children 12 and under.
