Weaver Named AMCC Player of the Week

HAMBURG, NY – Sophomore Adam Weaver has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference men’s volleyball Player of the Week, February 27.
The outside hitter led the Hawks in 1-1 week with 3.14 kills per set and a.370 hitting percentage against #7 ranked Nazareth College and Wells College. Weaver played up to the level of competition when he finished with 12 kills and 8 digs against Nazareth February 22. In a quick 3-0 victory over Wells (0-5), Weaver finished with a team best 10 kills (.450 hitting percentage), six digs and one service ace.
Currently, the Hawks are 3-10 overall and 1-5 in the United Volleyball Conference.
