HIRAM, OH – Nicole Blair (in photo to right) scored and assisted in the Hilbert women’s soccer loss (4-2) at Hiram
College September 3.
The Hawks surrendered a two-goal lead by the time Blair assisted on Robbi Bailey’s first Hawk goal of the season at the 18 minute mark. Hiram netted one more tally before intermission, taking a 3-1 cushion at the break.
Blair scored her goal thirteen minutes into the second period giving the Hawks some hope by cutting the score to 3-2. Hiram put one more ball past the Hawks keeper, clinching the two-goal win.
Hilbert (0-1) plays again in Ohio facing the University of Mount Union September 4.
