Industrial Security Scholarship Given to Hilbert Students

 HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College students, Aubre Shofnere of North Tonawanda, Sara Cunningham of Cherry Creek, and Robbi Bailey of Cadyville, were selected to each receive scholarship awards from the Buffalo Chapter of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).

The awards were presented on Friday, December 7 during the chapter’s Law Enforcement Appreciation luncheon. The $500 scholarship award also includes a complimentary student-level ASIS membership for each recipient.

Hilbert College, located in suburban Hamburg, N.Y., south of Buffalo, is a private four-year college founded in 1957 in the Catholic Franciscan tradition. With nearly 1,100 students, Hilbert is a dynamic Western New York college that offers career-focused majors, including one of the top criminal justice programs in the region, and more than 50 minors and concentrations.
