MLK Franciscan Day of Caring

The offices of mission integration/campus ministry and multicultural affairs coordinate a day of caring in commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Hilbert’s Franciscan Heritage, in which, faculty, staff and students volunteer at various locations (e.g., St. Vincent DePaul Society, VIVE La Casa, etc.) each year in January.   This is a yearly event that started in January of 2009, however, collaboration with the office of multicultural affairs began in January 2010.
