Diversity Workshops
Diversity Workshop Selections:
"Diversity and the College Community" (Level 1 - Introductory): Students will explore their personal beliefs about diversity and community through a series of activities. The purpose of this workshop is to develop student’s critical thinking skills and increase their understanding and sensitivity about diversity.
"Take A Stand: Activity Addressing Critical Thought About Global Issues" (Level 2 - Intermediate): Students will explore their personal beliefs about diversity and community through a series of activities. The purpose of this workshop is to develop student’s critical thinking skills and increase their understanding and sensitivity about diversity.
"Navigating Global Citizenship: What’s Your Cultural Competency Level?" (Level 3 - Advanced): Students will learn what it means to serve as global citizens in their communities, learn the value of working in a diverse population, and understand their cultural competency level. The purpose of this workshop is to teach students how to effectively interact with people from various backgrounds.
Additional workshop topics are available upon request, however, please allow an additional week for preparation.
