H1N1 (Swine Flu) |
H1N1 Information
We are committed to keeping your child well and are diligently working to educate staff, faculty, and students on ways to prevent the spread of the H1N1 on campus. We will work with students and parents to coordinate an isolation plan either on campus or home, should a student become diagnosed.
If a student has an underlying medical condition, including Asthama, it is important to notify the Wellness Center and report to the Wellness Center at the first signs of any flu symptoms. Treatment is most effective when started within the first 48 hours of onset.
Please be assured that we monitor guidelines from the New York State Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control for the most recent updates and guidelines for treatment of this new strain of flu.
