Bachelor of Arts Degree
The bachelor's degree in digital media and communication will provide you with both the necessary foundational, theoretical and experiential knowledge that grounds the discipline through a set of core courses. Graduates from this program will be prepared to enter a variety of careers in marketing, business, public relations, human resources, journalism, video production, and all levels and types of media work. In addition, the program prepares you for graduate work in communication, business, marketing, journalism, media arts, film study, and associated fields.

The program offers you four areas of concentration covering the major career paths within communication: integrated marketing, interpersonal and organizational skills, media writing, and media arts. Each of these concentrations allows you to focus on what you want to do, learning about your specific facet of the Communications field. You can (and are encouraged to) take courses in several concentrations too, broadening your horizons, and making your skills even more valuable in the real world.
Liberal Learning: The Six Goals
Goal 1. Foster Core Skills: Advanced writing, speaking, listening, reading, quantitative skills, and technological fluency.
Goal 2. Prepare Students for Living in a Diverse and Global Society: Awareness and appreciation of world cultures and languages, non-dominant groups and societies at home and abroad.
