Hilbert defeated by UPG in Three Games

GREENSBURG, PA -- The Hilbert College women’s volleyball lost its fourth consecutive Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) match, 3-0 (23-30, 15-30, 15-30), to the University of Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday, October 8th. The Hawks are now 1-15 on the season and 0-4 in AMCC contests. The host Panthers move to 6-17 with the victory, and 3-1 in conference play.
Keri Bush (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) turned in the top performance for the visiting Hawks, recording 10 kills to go along with one ace. Laura Stranc (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) also had 1 ace along with 20 assists in the losing effort.
The Hawks will play an away tri-match at Hamilton College on Tuesday, October 11th. Hilbert will take on the SUNYIT Wildcats at 6:00 pm and face the host Continentals at 8:00 pm in Clinton, NY.
