HAMBURG, NY – The Keuka College Storm took three straight games (30-17, 30-15, 30-23) from the Hilbert College Hawks Wednesday night in women’s NCAA Division III volleyball action. The loss drops the Hawks to 1-8 on the season.
Laura Stranc (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca West) led the host Hawks with 14 kills while Nicolette Newton (Forestville, NY/Forestville) chipped in with eight in the losing effort. Desire Miller (Cheektowaga, NY/West Seneca East) anchored the Hawks defense with four blocks on the night.
The Hawks travel to NAIA Division II Point Park College in Pittsburgh, PA this weekend for a tri-match with the Pioneers and the Bison from Bethany College. Saturday’s start time is scheduled for 1:00 pm.
