Women’s Volleyball Team Loses Regular Season Finale

HAMBURG, N.Y. – The Hilbert College women’s volleyball team lost their final regular season home game to NEAC rival D’Youville College 30-12, 30-16, and 30-26 in NCAA Division III action on Wednesday night.
Lisa Piccone (Westfield/Westfield, NY) recorded six kills and four digs while Jamie O’Connor (Hamburg/Hamburg, NY) totaled three kills and eight digs to lead Hilbert.
The Lady Hawks (1-17) will play in the NEAC Championships to be held Nov. 1 at D’Youville College. Their first match will be against Cazenovia College at 10 a.m.
