Greensburg, PA – Greensburg’s Casey Stanton recorded her sixth double-double of the season with a 20 point, 14 rebound effort in the Bobcats 75-43 victory over the Hilbert women’s basketball team December 11th.  Magan Campbell (11 points) and Julie Bossard (10 points) were high scorers for the Hawks (1-7, 0-3) as they continue to fight for their first conference win.

Greensburg went into the locker room with a 35-16 lead, after going on a 20 to 4 run over the last 6 minutes of the half. Bossard (Arkport, NY/Canisteo-Greenwood) led the Hawks with 8 points and 2 blocks. The Hawks were an impressive 8-10 from the foul line but their 28% field goal shooting hurt their chances of making a comeback to win the game.

Hilbert hosts Nazareth College in the first game of a non-conference double header December 17th. The Golden Flyers are coming off a 61-59 loss to Ithaca College, dropping their record to 3-5, 0-1 in the Empire 8 conference.
