Pittsburgh, PA - The Hilbert College women’s volleyball team earned their first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference win on Saturday, October 2 when they traveled to La Roche College. The 3-set victory (25-11, 29-27, 25-21) improves the Hawks record to 4-11 and 1-3 in the AMCC.   Freshman outside hitter Chelsea Reischuck (East Aurora, NY/East Aurora) led the front line with 13 kills. She was supported in effort by senior Carole Jones (Bliss, NY/Letchworth) who earned 9 kills. Again, touching a majority of the attacked balls was freshman Shannon Memminger (Amherst, NY/Sweet Home) who passed for 27 assists and was a deadly from behind the service line, as she fooled the Red Hawks for 7 aces.

The Hawks host Penn State Behrend on Tuesday, October 5th at 7 pm.
