PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference announced the All-Conference softball teams for the 2010 season and two Hilbert College athletes have been recognized for their outstanding and dependable play. Senior outfielder Sarah Collins (Milroy, PA/Indian Valley) was named to the 2nd team All-Conference squad and freshman Amber Grosch (Depew, NY/Depew) was chosen to the Honorable Mention team at the short stop position. Thirty-three players and one coach are recognized for their abilities and sportsmanship by the conference coaches at the completion of each season. The AMCC names eleven players (one player per each position, plus an additional pitcher and designated player) to the 1st Team All-Conference, 2nd Team All-Conference and Honorable Mention teams as well as a Player of the Year, a Pitcher of the Year, a Newcomer of the Year and Coach of the Year.
