Baker Named AMCC Softball Player of the Week

Pittsburgh, PA--On top of having one of the best starts in program history (6-2), the Hilbert College softball team’s Halsey Baker (Scio, NY/Scio) has been named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Softball Player of the Week.
Baker had an outstanding week on offense going 17-23 from the plate earning a .739 batting average. She led the team with four doubles and homered two times in back to back games. Baker also scored seven runs for the Hawks while racking up another nine RBI’s.
This honor marks Baker’s first AMCC Player of the Week award for her career.
Hilbert is on a two game winning streak sitting in second place in their conference.
