Fie Named To AMCC 2nd Team

GIBSONIA, PA – Hilbert College softball player Amber Fie (Olean, NY/Olean) has been named second team All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) for the 2006 season.
The senior catcher led the Hawks in 10 different offensive categories including games started (30), at bats (89), hits (33), RBIs (16), and homeruns (3). Her .371 from the plate went along with a slugging percentage of .387 to place her ninth and tenth in the conference respectively.
A repeat performer on the 2005 second team, Fie led the 2006 Hawks to an 8-23 record and a ninth place finish in the AMCC.
