Gollaher Named AMCC Pitcher of the Week

GIBSONIA, Penn.Hilbert College sophomore Meghan Gollaher (Rochester, NY/Spencerport) was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 10th. 


The righthander led the Hawks to a 4-0 record on the week, recording complete games in each of the contests.  She tossed back-to-back shutouts in a doubleheader at Wells College on April 6, holding The Express to just three hits over 10 innings of play.  Gollaher again notched two victories in a doubleheader against AMCC foe Mount Aloysius College on April 9.  She finished with a season-best 10 strikeouts in game one, while limiting the Mounties to one earned run in game two.


The Hilbert College softball team takes on AMCC opponent Lake Erie College Wednesday, April 13th in a 3:00 PM doubleheader.
