Altoona, PA – The women’s soccer team from Hilbert College is having a tough year in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference falling to 1-7 with the loss to Penn State Altoona on Saturday, October 23rd, 4-0. The Hawks gave up nine corner kicks to the Lions, while the home team dominated in shots 21-6 (13 on frame). Batavia’s Mary Zinni made 9 saves for Hilbert.
The Hawks will honor their seniors, Emily Schilling (Holland, NY/Holland) and Samantha Lawrence (East Chatham, NY/New Lebanon) Wednesday, October 27th at 4pm in their final match of the season against Medaille College.
