Hamburg, NY - The Penn State Behrend women’s soccer team blew out of town with an 8-2 victory over Hilbert College on October 20 forcing at two-way tie for first place in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference standings. The Hawks were down 4-0 at half time and gave up the fifth goal 25 minutes into the second half before Alyssa Hulbert (Tonawanda, NY/Kenmore East) scored her first of two goals during the windy afternoon game. All second half scoring (4 goals by Behrend and two goals by Hilbert) occurred in an eight minute span (70 minute to 78th minute mark) to keep the game entertaining.
