ECAC Recognizes Hilbert’s Goodwin

CAPE COD, MA – The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has recognized Hilbert College women’s soccer player Kelly Goodwin (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) as the Mid-Atlantic Defensive player of the Week, for the week ending October 30th.
Earlier in the week Goodwin was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Goalkeeper of the week. The sophomore helped the hawks to back-to-back wins last week while posting shutouts in both victories.
Goodwin and the Hawks (8-6-2) travel to Frostburg State (11-5) on Wednesday for a 4:00 pm match in the AMCC tournament semifinals.
The ECAC consists of 188 institutions and is the nation’s largest athletic conference.
Hilbert College, located in suburban Hamburg, N.Y., south of Buffalo, is a private four-year college founded in 1957 in the Catholic Franciscan tradition.
