Hilbert’s Goodwin Earns Weekly AMCC Honors

GIBSONIA, PA – Hilbert College women’s soccer player Kelly Goodwin (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Goalkeeper of the Week for the week ending October 29th.

Goodwin posted back-to-back shutouts to boost the Hawks into the semifinals of the AMCC women’s soccer tournament. She turned away four shots in the season finale against the University of Pittsburg at Bradford and recently blanked Medaille College with nine saves in the tournament quarterfinals.

The sophomore has five shutouts on the season and leads the fifth seeded Hawks (8-6-2) against the number one seed Frostburg State Bobcats (11-5) on Wednesday, November 1st.
