Lady Hawks to Face Mavs in AMCC Playoffs

BUFFALO, NY – The table is now set for the opening round of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women’s soccer tournament with the first round to get underway on Saturday, October 28th. The #5 seed Hilbert College Hawks will play at the #4 seed Medaille College Mavericks. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 pm indoors at Sahlen’s Sports Park at 7070 Seneca Street in Elma, NY.
The Mavericks (10-7-1, 5-3-1) are on a four game win streak and own an impressive 6-1 regular season win over the Hawks (7-6-2, 3-4-2) from back on October 5th. Hilbert is coming off a 1-0 win over the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford in the regular season finale.
The winner of Saturday’s opening round will travel to #1 seed Frostburg State on Wednesday, November 1st to meet the 11-5, 9-0 Bobcats in the AMCC semifinals. For more information visit the AMCC website at www.amcconf.org.
