Lady Hawks Split Weekend Soccer Matches

Hamburg, NY – The Hilbert College women’s soccer team split a pair of games at home this weekend, defeating D’Youville College 6-0 on Friday and losing to RIT 6-0 on Sunday.
The Lady Hawks’ Jessica Macri (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls, NY) and Jeanmarie Brady (Lakeshore/Derby, NY) led the offense on Friday, combining for 3 goals and 4 assists. Michelle Greco (Southwestern/Jamestown, NY) and Rosanne Gawronski (W. Seneca West/West Seneca, NY) scored the first goals of their collegiate careers against the visiting Spartans. The defense did not allow D’Youville to attempt a single shot.
Hilbert goalie Samantha Dexter (JFK/Cheektowaga, NY) recorded 10 saves against RIT on Sunday.
The Lady Hawks return to action on Wednesday for a home game against Hiram College at 4:30 PM.
