HAMBURG, NY – Hilbert College’s Sue Devlin (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) was the overall winner Saturday morning, but D’Youville College came out on top with a 20-35 dual meet win over the host Hawks.
Devlin’s time of 16.41 over the 2.5 mile course gave the junior her first win of the season. Marissa Sappelt’s time of 19:20 led the visiting Spartans as D’Youville claimed spots two through six to earn the win.
The Hawks will head to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships next weekend in Greensburg, PA. The women’s race is scheduled for 11:00 AM and the men’s race will start at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 29.
