GIBSONIA, Pa. – Hilbert College women’s cross country runner Katy Dorsheimer (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) women’s cross country Runner of the Week for the week of Oct. 4.

Dorsheimer remained unbeaten on her home course Oct. 1 in a quad meet against D’Youville College, Medaille College and the University of Pitt-Bradford. The junior ran the 3.1-mile course in 20:40, a season-best. This was the second time in two weeks she was victorious at home, and the seventh first-place finish of her career.

This marks the second time Dorsheimer has been named AMCC Runner of the Week since the Hawks joined the conference in Fall 2003.

The Hawk men’s and women’s cross country teams travel to Brockport State for their next competition at 10 a.m. Oct. 9.
