HAMBURG, N.Y. – Hilbert College cross-country runners Andy Kozak (Lackawanna, NY/St. Francis) and Katy Dorsheimer (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) picked up individual wins Friday while leading the Hawks to wins over Medaille College, D’Youville College, and the University of Pittsburg at Bradford.

 

Kozak covered the 4.5-mile men’s course in 26:13 to lead the men’s team to a 27-28 win over the Panthers of Pitt-Bradford.  The Hawks Dominic Miller (Niagara Falls, NY/West Seneca West) crossed the finish line in third place with a time of 30:12.    

 

On the women’s side, Dorsheimer remained undefeated in her career at home with a season best time of 20:40 over the women’s 3.1-mile course. Teammate Stacey Zinck (Hornell, NY/Hornell) finished second for the Hawks in 21:23 to help secure the 42 points needed to defeat Medaille (54), Pitt-Bradford (57), and D’Youville (57).

 

The men’s and women’s cross country teams will travel Oct. 9 to Brockport State for the Brockport Invitational at 10 a.m.
