Hilbert’s Dorsheimer Remains Undefeated at Home; Kozak Victorious

HAMBURG, N.Y. -- Hilbert College’s Katy Dorsheimer (Lakeview, NY/Frontier) conquered her home 3.0-mile course in 20:53 en route to winning Friday’s women’s cross country meet at the Hamburg campus. The junior remains undefeated at home, picking up her sixth victory in three years.

 

Junior Stacey Zinck’s (Hornell, NY/Hornell) second place finish in 21:23 helped the Hawks to a team win over visiting D’Youville College, Medaille College, and the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

 

Hilbert’s Andy Kozak (Lackawanna, NY/St. Francis) led all runners in the men’s race placing first for his first collegiate win. The senior covered the 5.0-mile course in 33.08, but the Hawks were edged out by the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford by a score of 25-30.

 

Hilbert heads to St. Lawrence University Sept. 25 for its next meet.
