GIBSONIA, PA – Hilbert College women’s basketball player Amanda McHale (Bradford, PA/Archbishop Walsh) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Player of the Week for the week ending January 28th.
Despite an 0-2 week, McHale was outstanding for the Hawks averaging 17.0 ppg and 14.5 rpg while recording consecutive double-doubles and swatting nine shots.
The 5’11 junior forward currently averages 2.82 blocks per game and is the Hawks leading scorer (12.4 ppg) and rebounder (10.2).
The Hilbert College women’s basketball team (1-17, 1-11) is in action again on Wednesday at Penn State Behrend. Tip-off against the Behrend Lions is scheduled for 6:00 pm.
