Hilbert Lady Hawks Stopped by Penn State Behrend

HAMBURG, N.Y. – Tenesha Aden scored a game high 20 points to lead visiting Penn State Behrend (19-5, 10-1) to a 68-49 win over Hilbert College in women’s college basketball last night.
Behrend held a 34-23 lead at the break before Hilbert rallied to trim the second-half lead to five with just over 11 minutes to play. Behrend soon pulled away and finished the game with a 44-33 rebounding margin to win the battle on the boards.
Hilbert freshman LeShanna Gaston (Emerson/Buffalo, NY) led the Lady Hawks with 11 points while teammate Natalie Samuelson (Jamestown/Jamestown, NY) chipped in with 10 points in a losing effort.
The Lady Hawks (9-14, 3-4) are off until Feb. 24 when they travel to D’Youville College for a 6 p.m. game against the Spartans.
