Weaver Named AMCC Player of Week Again

PITTSBURGH, PA - For the second time this season, sophomore Adam Weaver (Stow, OH/Archbishop Hoban) has been named as the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's men's volleyball Player of the Week March 26.Weaver earned 69 kills for the Hawks and finished the week with 4.31 kills per set and a .403 hitting percentage.
His strongest hitting match was against Penn State Behrend (3/21) when he struck for 13 kills, 2 errors in 20 attempts (.550). At the Endicott College Tournament, the outside hitters most impressive match was a 3-1 loss to The Sages (3/25) when he led the Hawks with 27 kills and one service ace. He was named to the All-Tournament team at the conclusion of the 14-team tournament.
The Hawks (6-20) finish their season March 31 when they participate in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference play-offs.
