The Hilbert College men’s volleyball team closed out their regular season with a 3-0 defeat (30-15, 30-25, 30-25) to D’Youville College on Thursday evening (March 12, 2009). With the loss, the Hawks fall to 3-17 overall and 2-6 in NECVA West play.

Senior Robert Gerhard (Angola, NY/Lakeshore) led the Hawks in kills with nine and also added six digs. Sophomore Eric Davies (Tonawanda, NY/Tonawanda) chipped in with five kills and six blocks.

Freshman Vincent Amico (Buffalo, NY/Timon St. Jude) dished out 23 assists to key the Hawks’ offensive attack.
