Nazareth Bests Hilbert

The Hilbert College men’s volleyball team fell to Nazareth College 3-0 (10-30, 17-30, 26-30), on Wednesday evening (February 4, 2009). The setback drops the Hawks record to 3-4 on the season and 2-1 in NECVA Western Division contests.

Freshman Andrew Carll (North Tonawanda, NY/North Tonawanda) and senior Robert Gerhard (Angola, NY/Lake Shore) led the Hawks with six kills apiece.

Gerhard and Carll also notched 7 digs each to lead the Hawks’ defense.

Freshman Vince Amico (Buffalo, NY/Timon) dished out 16 assists for the Hawks.

The Hawks return to action Thursday February 5, at 7 pm, at Rival Medaille College.
