Hawks Defeat SUNYIT and Fall to Baruch to Open Season

The Hilbert College men's volleyball team went 1-1 in a tri-match at SUNYIT on Saturday afternoon (January 24, 2009). The Hawks record stands at 1-1 overall and 1-0 in the NECVA West.
The Hawks defeated SUNYIT in five games. The Hawks dropped the first two games 30-24 and 30-26. Hilbert won the last three games of the match 32-30, 32-30 and 15-7.
Against Baruch the Hawks fell 3-0 by scores of 18-30, 16-30 and 19-30.
The Hawks return to action at home January 30, at 6 pm against Lancaster Bible College.
