Hawks Volleyball Team Downed at Home

HAMBURG, NYVisiting Baptist Bible College rallied after a 30-18 loss in game one to take the next three (30-26, 30-27, 30-27) from Hilbert College Saturday night in men’s collegiate volleyball action.  The loss drops the Hawks to 1-9 overall on the season.


Hilbert’s Luke Whelan (Lake Shore/Angola, NY) had seven kills and three digs while Robert Gerhard (Lake Shore/Angola, NY) chipped in with six kills and six digs.  Jess Eger (Bradford/Bradford, PA) contributed five kills and five digs in the losing effort.


The Hawks are back in action at Nazareth College on February 22nd.  The match against the Golden Flyers is scheduled for 7:30 PM.
