HAMBURG, NY – The Hilbert College men’s volleyball team opened their 2005 home schedule on a sour note, as they lost their third consecutive match to Nazareth College, fourth overall, 30-16, 30-13, 30-24.  The loss drops the Hawks to 0-4 on the season, 0-4 in North Eastern Collegiate Volleyball Association (NECVA) play.  Nazareth improves its record to 4-2 overall.


Sophomore Craig Kilgore (Buffalo, NY/Frontier) spearheaded the Hawks offense with seven kills.  Robert Gerhard (Angola, NY/Lake Shore) added six kills and five digs, while Tom Cone (Rapid City, SD/Lincoln) had 13 assists for Hilbert.


The Hawks continue their 2005 season on the road, at Baptist Bible College in Clarks Summit, PA, on February 4.  The match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.
