GREENVILLE, PA – Hilbert College suffered a 3-set non-conference loss to Thiel College (6-4) February 12 dropping to 3-8 overall. The Hawks finished the match (25-19,25-18,25-15) with a .127 hitting percentage and 18 digs for the night. 

Adam Weaver scored 9 kills, 3 blocks and 2 service aces and David Mellerski added 23 assists. Korey Schwab {in photo} led with 5 digs and Fred Sickau finished with 6 kills and one block at the net.

Thiel outlasted the Hawks with a .371% and a balanced offensive attack with nine different player getting credit for kills.

Andrew Pohlod led Thiel with 7 kills while Charlie Tindall passed for 27 assists.

The Hawks turn around and host Medaille College Thursday, February 14 with a 7 pm first serve.
