Johnson Named AMCC Player of the Week

PITTSBURGH, PA - Hilbert’s Allegra Johnson was named the AMCC Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week on October 29th.
The freshman outside hitter had an impressive week as she led the Hawks to their first ever Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference championship play-off run. With 3.57 kills per set and 4.29 digs per set, Johnson dominated for the Hawks. Her highlight effort came against Pitt-Bradford, where she recorded 16 kills, 20 digs and 2 blocks.
For the season, Johnson is leading the Hawks with 233 kills, and is ranked third in digs (158), service aces (24) and assists (13).
The Hawks finished 15-11 and 4-5 in the AMCC. They continue their season into a first round AMCC play-off game at Franciscan University October 31.
