AURORA, NY – The Hilbert College men’s soccer team suffered a 1-0 non-conference defeat at Wells College September 5. Tyler Morris scored the game’s lone goal in the 69th minute of play as Wells improved to 2-1 on the season.
The Hawks (0-3) outshot the Express (13-10) with Hilbert’s Jordan Lynch firing seven shots at CJ Bayly in goal for the host. Morris’ unassisted goal snuck past Jeremy Kraska, who made three saves on the day.
Hilbert travels to Grove City College September 8th before they host their home-opener against Alfred University September 11th (4pm).
