Freshman Derek Mort held the mound and pitched six strong innings, giving up four earned runs against Delaware Valley. Sophomore Frank Mancuso and senior Chris Hoak each finished the game with two hits apiece.
The Hawks were able to run the bases in the second game against Earlham when they finished with five scores. Senior Jim Pernick had a two-run double and senior Nick Sherman slapped a one-run double in the afternoon. Hoak took the loss on the mound after four innings.
