GANSEVOORT, NY - The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) is thrilled to announce the acceptance of Hilbert College as associate member in men's lacrosse. Hilbert College is an active member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference for all other programs. Hilbert is eager to offer their men’s lacrosse program a conference experience and will bring strength to the sports of men’s lacrosse within the NEAC. As an associate member, Hilbert will be immediately eligible for regular season conference awards and post season championship opportunities.

Hilbert completed their inaugural season of Division III competition with a 6-6 overall record having gone 3-5 against NEAC opponents.  Freshman midfielder Ryan Wagner (Orchard Park, NY/Canisius) finished the season ranked #2 with 3.75 goals per game; #3 with 11.58 ground balls per game, #4 with 5.17 points per game and #9 with .664 in face-off percentage in the final national NCAA Division III polls.

The NEAC will now have nine men's programs (7 NCAA full and 2 NCAA provisional members) which will allow the conference to begin the two-year waiting period to earn the NCAA automatic qualifier in the sport of men's lacrosse.
