West Middlesex, PA - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Golf Championships began on Sunday, October 10 with 45 student-athletes fighting to be the top medalist at the completion of the two-day event. Nine of the ten member institutions have golfers competing at the Oak Tree Country Club located in West Middlesex, PA.

The first day of competition found PS Altoona’s Chris Perry (75) with a one stroke lead over La Roche’s Mike Sliman (76). Medaille’s John Haberman and Greensburg’s Chris Meyer are tied for 3rd place (77).
Hilbert’s top golfer after day one was John Nowak (Hamburg, NY/Frontier) who shot a 86 (+15) and currently stands tied in 20th place.
