Hawks Fall to 0-5 on Season

UTICA, NY – Hilbert College men’s soccer traveled to Utica to play SUNYIT on Wednesday, September 15th looking for their first victory. The Hawks lost 3-0 in this non-conference game, falling 0-5 on the season as the Wildcats improved to 3-2. The Wildcats put one in the back of the net at the 5:54 mark into the first half and the score remained 1-0 for majority of the game. Mental breakdowns in the last 90 seconds of the game allowed SUNY IT to score the last 2 goals. Wildcats controlled the match by outshooting the Hawks (21-3) and dominating the offensive end with a 7-1 corner kick advantage. Kamil Cislak (Lancaster, NY/Lancaster) finished the game with 12 saves in an effort to keep the Hawks in the game.
Hilbert College hosts Alfred University on Saturday, September 18th at 3 pm.
