On Friday, September 23 at 2:30pm, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will hold its first meeting of the 2011-12 academic year. Co-Advisors Curt Campbell and Kelly Starchok-Gillow will meet with the student-athletes who represent the athletic teams in the Hafner Recreation Center’s conference room.
The SAAC serves the student-athlete population as an avenue to share information on NCAA matters, college matters and team-issue concerns. Further, the SAAC provides a learning and growing experience though community service activities and sport participation.
Hilbert College supports 12 varsity programs with the department’s SAAC represented by two student-athletes from each team.
Anyone wishing to participate who cannot attend the meeting should contact Curt or Kelly prior to the meeting date.
