HAMBURG, NY:--Richard Walsh, Director of Athletics at Hilbert College, has released the fall sports practice schedules.  All returning athletes and any first time Hawks can participate in practices beginning Wednesday, August 19, 2009 for men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball teams.  Prior to any athlete practicing, they must be cleared medically and be evaluated academically in addition to having all their NCAA/Hilbert College compliance paper work signed and on file.  All other sports will begin practicing after school begins September 8, 2009.

All the necessary paperwork and forms are posted on the Hilbert.edu/athletics webpage. It is recommended that each athlete print all forms / complete and submit them prior to their first practice time so they may begin participating without any delay.  All forms will be collected by the appropriate head coach or they maybe turned into Kara Rehbaum, Assistant Athletics Director.

On Wednesday, August 19th, from 9 am to 11 am, Buffalo Spine and Sports Institute, P.C. will be on campus at the Hafner Recreation Center performing free physicals for any athlete who hasn't been seen by their primary doctor.

Practices for women's volleyball team will be: Wednesday, 19th: 7 - 9 am and then again from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.  Expect the same schedule for the first few days of practice.
