Hawks Play at Penn State Behrend Invitational

The Hilbert College golf team participated at the Penn State Behrend Invitational on Thursday afternoon. The tournament was played on the lower course at Peek ‘n Peek golf club and resort.
The tournament was won by Westminster who posted a combined team score of 296. The Hawks finished 10th out of 13 teams.
Junior Joe Roberts (Adams, NY/South Jefferson) was the low man for the hawks shooting a 78. Junior Brian Rathke (Buffalo, NY/Timon) recorded an 80. Junior Ted Winkey (East Concord, NY) shot an 86 in his first tournament of the season. Juniors Ian Frost (Pine Valley, NY/Cherry Creek and Justin Tworek (Dunkirk, NY/Dunkirk) recorded scores of 91 and 92 respectively.
The Hawks return to the Links on Sept. 30 at the D’Youville College Invitational at Springville Country Club.
