HC golfers place 10th at UPB

BRADFORD, PA – Hobart College won the University of Pitt-Bradford Golf Invitational on Sunday with a team score of 291 as the Statesmen placed four golfers in the top five. Hobart’s George Gorton shot a 72 to lead competitors from 10 different programs on the day.
Hilbert College was paced by sophomore Will Sporney (West Seneca, NY/Bishop Timon) who shot an 86. The Hawks finished in 10th place with a score of 355.
On the season, the Hawks are being paced by junior Glen Ufland (Buffalo, NY/Bishop Timon) who is carrying an average of 84.5 after two matches.
Next up for the Hawks is a trip to the Penn State Behrend Invitational on Thursday, September 22nd for a 12:00 pm start.
